The course covers modern ballroom dance - Rumba, Samba, Cha-cha, paso doble, and Jive . It will be taught in an academic way, following the systematic specifications. Starting from the very beginning(from quasi-bronze, copper, silver., Gold until the most advanced), step by step, the students will learn the basic skills in theory, combined with sufficient practice. The teacher will organize regular lecturing balls to assess student progress. By improving choreography, boosting self confidence and developing inner peace, while getting involved in large-scale dance performances, the students will showcase their beautiful lives.
陈氏太极拳初级班 (Chen-Style Tai Chi - Beginner) $320 任课教师: Simon Lu

教学目的:掌握陈氏太极拳基本功和入门套路,了解陈氏太极拳的基本运动特点。

● 入门十二式
课程方向
● 从基本缠丝功入手,适应全身螺旋缠丝的运动特点。
● 学习入门十二式,掌握缠绕折叠、快慢结合的拳路节奏,理解蓄柔成刚、柔化刚发的太极发劲。 Instructor: Simon Lu

Duration: 20 Weeks. The instructor will confirm the schedule once the semester starts.
Objective: Learn the foundational exercises and beginner forms of Chen-style Tai Chi. Master the essential movement characteristics of the style.
Curriculum: 8-movement spiral force exercises; 12-movement beginner form.
Overview:
1. Begin with spiral force exercises to develop whole-body coiling and spiraling
motion.
2. Learn the 12-movement form with its winding motions and varying tempos; use
relaxation and softness to cultivate inner energy and controlled power release.
陈氏太极拳中高级班 (Chen-Style Tai Chi - Interm. to Adv.) $330 任课教师: Simon Lu
招生对象:12-60 岁,已学过中级班(核心二十四式)的学员
课程时间:20周,开学后老师会跟学员确认上课日程
教学目的:掌握陈氏太极拳核心与精练套路,提升表演风格与健身效果。
教学内容:
● 陈氏太极拳核心二十四式
● 陈氏太极拳精练四十八式
课程方向:
● 在入门十二式基础上,学习二十四式或四十八式套路。
● 掌握“七分柔化,三分刚发”的拳路编排,调整呼吸,合理分配体力。加强步法与身法协调性。
● 形成如大江大河般行云流水、一气呵成的太极风格,达到最佳健身强身效果。 Instructor: Simon Lu

● 24-movement core form
● 48-movement advanced form
Overview:
● Build upon the 12-movement form to learn the 24- or 48-movement sequences.
● Practice forms balancing 70% soft coiling with 30% explosive power; learn to regulate breathing and energy management, enhance footwork and turning techniques.
● Achieve a seamless, powerful Tai Chi style that flows continuously like a great river, maximizing both fitness and health benefits.
咏春拳班 (Wing Chun and Self Defense) $470 任课教师:Simon Lu

招生对象:12 岁以上青少年,以及成人学员。
先修要求:无需基础
教学目的:传授咏春拳术,提升实用自卫能力。
教学内容:
● 咏春拳套路
● 黐手练习
● 模拟攻防对练
课程方向:
1. 讲解咏春拳的拳理、技法、作战原则,培养扬长避短、以弱胜强的自卫能力。
2. 教授套路与黐手练习,培养敏锐的感知力和反应能力,形成本能的自卫反应。
3. 针对常见格斗场景进行组合动作训练,讲解封手与控制技巧,快速有效制敌。
4. 按学员水平分组搭配,定制对练项目,帮助新老学员按个人进度逐步提升。 Instructor: Simon Lu

Objective: Teach the Wing Chun martial arts system to improve practical self-defense skills.

● Sticky-hand sensitivity drills
● Simulated combat and defensive drills
Overview:
1. Teach Wing Chun theory, techniques, and fighting principles; train students to maximize strengths and overcome stronger opponents.
2. Practice Wing Chun forms and sticky-hand drills to develop sensitivity, reflexes, and automatic self-defense responses.
3. Train combination techniques for common combat scenarios; teach trapping and control methods for fast and decisive self-defense.
4. Pair students by skill level and customize partner drills, enabling both new and returning students to progress at their own pace.
Yoga 初级课(Beginner Class - Hatha Yoga) $485 两个时间段可以选择 9:50am - 10:35am or 11:45am - 12:30pm

Each class is 45 minutes. Led by experienced certified Zumba Instructor Lulu, this class has been well loved in big Millburn area. It is a specifically designed Zumba Fusion program by integrating traditional gym Zumba and varieties of dances for fitness, fun, and style. This program can enhance fitness, muscle toning, eye-hand coordination, focusability, flexibility, and confidence. This class is suited for students who have already taken Lulu Zumba before.
